bodily death?” After all is said and done, bare facts must speak louder than mere theory, even though the latter be surrounded with a halo of literary ornament, and I take it that the reader does not want me to draw con- clusions for him, but prefers to draw them for himself. Doubtless the Philosophy of True Spiritualism is a jewel in the Crown of Humanity; but the demonstrated facts are at least the gold in which the jewel is set.
The present writer is of the opinion that the attainment of that psychic, or super-normal, vision is one of the first steps to Spiritual Seership, and therefore it has its place in the spiritual, as well as in the mental, evolution of the man. It enables the Seer to produce evidence that the path he has trodden is in accordance with facts which have been demon- strated on the earth plane ; and without proofs of the existence of this faculty within him the Seer can hardly expect sensible people to allow him to lead them very far into the Realm of the Higher Wisdom. I have come to the conclusion that in matters psychic there isa great danger of Delusion attaching itself to the mentality, and displacing Reason to such an extent that many otherwise honest people are led into making statements which
