meaning to very many people; secondly, it was coined to replace “ long-distance Clairvoyance,” and also “ Spirit-body-travelling,” words which have the merit of existence and simplicity ; thirdly, it does not make a distinction between long-distance Clairvoyance, ‘ Mental-body- travelling,” or Phone-voyance, probably be- cause the man who coined it was of a clair- voyant, and did not know from personal experience that there zs a difference, which I hope to point out later on; and, lastly, and most particularly, the word “Telesthesia” in no way implies either pfyszcaZ contact or the means of physical contact, as does Phone- voyance.
