46 PREFACE.
I have perhaps trespassed too long on the patience of the reader. But before I close I wish to emphasize one or two points. First, that Mr. Turvey is so scrupulous on the subject of the acceptance of money in connection with the exercise of his psychic gifts, that he has made over to me all his copyright in this book, which is published at his own expense.
Secondly, that I suppress his address only because I do not think that he should be sub- jected to personal visits from intruders, who merely wish to gratify their own idle curiosity. Any letters intended for him can be forwarded to my address (Bank Buildings, Kingsway, London).
Thirdly, that I repeat once more that I believe Mr. Turvey is a man of truth, that his testimony is trustworthy evidence as to what is within his own knowledge, and that the witnesses’ letters which are held for the scrutiny of inquirers are the genuine epistles of credible witnesses,
Therefore, I give this little book my blessing and send it out into the world to provoke discussion, and to stimulate thought, as to the vast latent potentialities of men.
