The reason for taking time out for doing so is that there are many misunderstandings about the place, and which sometimes figure into and distort various popular versions of how and why remote viewing came about. But the reader should understand that SRI has a public relations department and that the Institute publishes information about itself and the various research functions that come and go within it.
