imparted it to obtain admission to the chapel of to-day. In the “ Versailles” adventure there is no indication that Marie Antoinette, or her attendants, were cognizant of the changes which had taken place since their day. The infor- mation imparted related to the old Versailles ; but in the Occult Review story Queen Kathe- rine directed the visitor how to obtain admis- sion to the existing Chapel, by applying to persons who were certainly not alive in the reign, or in the time, of Henry VIII.
The challenging mystery of these pheno- mena provokes investigation into the nature of the faculties which enable these phenomena to be observed and described. Hence I venture to think that this work on the “ Beginnings of Seership ” may be studied with something of the attention which it deserves. Mr. Turvey, like all the rest of us, has his own theories and hypotheses as to the how and the why. He may be right, or he may be wrong. We are not concerned with his theories and explana- tions. The facts which he records are the important thing,
