I asked myself, ‘How on earth did ‘I’ know that ‘Me’ saw it?” and “ What part of ‘Me’ was clairvoyant, seeing that the clair- voyant ‘I’ was away?” and, “If ‘Me’ saw the ‘spirit’ and the woman, why did not ‘Me’ know that ‘I’ saw through Mr. Blake's eyes, and not through my own optics, as ‘Me’ ‘felt’ it did?” The time at which I said “I” had gone was checked, and it tallied with the time at which description was given.
