VOUCHER. We, the undersigned, have read the originals of the letters herein quoted and have checked the type-written MS. copies by them. In our opinion the letters are absolutely genuine correspondence given or sent to Mr. Turvey, as evidence for some super-normal faculty pos- sessed by him. We have seen a document signed by three officers of a public Society vouching for the Public Clairvoyance herein mentioned, and we have also seen the note-book kept by Mr. Turvey, wherein each separate public appear- ance is noted with the number of “descrip- tions” given, and each evening’s record is signed for by two or more witnesses. We think Mr. Turvey’s state of health makes it impossible for him to have used any method of espionage, and we do not think he is morally capable of attempting to do so. J. W.
