“SPIRIT” VISITANTS. 125
The following extracts from letters are also concerning “Spirit” Visitants, but were not for people in the Hall. I think my reader will see, by now, that to attempt to explain the incidents by Telepathy is really futile,
(No. 27.) Bournemouth,
June §, 1907. DEAR SIR,
On November 26, 1906, I attended a séance and obtained a message. I was told to call and see you, as the “spirit” informed me he had just visited you and you had described him and got his name.
The next day, on my way to see you, I met you in the company of another gentleman, and you said to me (before I spoke), “You have come to see me about a spirit who came to me at nine o'clock last night; his name is G Cc , and his description you then gave most accurately, and stated that he died abroad in a very warm climate, such as India. He really died in China. I then produced a photo of him which I had obtained from his daughter, and you at once remarked, “Yes, that is he.” I may say there were ten persons present when I received the message, among whom was Councillor E :
Mr, B , etc., who would be able to corroborate the facts.
Yours truly, T. P, STEVENS.
