On Tuesday, March 10, 1908, a “ spirit” visited me, and I described him to two earthly visitors ; but he was not for them, so I said, “] will announce him next Sunday.” One of my visitors thought Mr. Hartley knew him. On the Sunday (March 15, 1908) before ‘an- nouncing” the naval lieutenant of the last incident, I announced the following Visitant :
“A young man, age, —; height, —; build, —,; hair, —; eyes, —; nose, —; complexion, —, etc, etc.” Then I went on to say “he
often wore pink (not white) linen shirts, and sometimes let his cuffs get rather dirty, as he did not like to risk injuring a pair of cuff-links that he valued. He was an exceptionally fine musician, especially on the organ and piano, He was unfortunately easily led by com- panions. He gave me part of a name, but I could not get it all. What I did “get” was ‘HAR.’ Does any one know him?”
