On February 12, 1908, I was driving on the New Undercliff Drive at Bournemouth, and I passed a lady whom I recognized as being one of our audience or congregation. Behind her walked the “ spirit form” of an old man with a brown (oak ?) stick. I noted him “for future use.”
On the Sunday following (February 16), before I began to give Clairvoyance, | asked the lady, who was present, “ Did you see me drive past you last Wednesday?” She said, “Yes.” Then I told her about the “spirit” I had seen behind her, and asked her if she recognized it. She replied that she did. This is signed for in my note-book.
